Gladiator Forum is a monthly event celebrating professional learning! Whether you're participating or leading a session of your own, Gladiator Forum is one of the best ways to share and build knowledge with our GOAL teammates.
The Basics:
Who -- All GOAL staff
What -- A conference-style afternoon of staff learning
Where -- Sign up in Vector, attend live sessions virtually (usually in Teams or Zoom)
When -- 12:00 - 4:00 PM, first working Friday of each month
​Why -- Our team is the best source of knowledge for how to serve GOAL students! Sharing professional learning with each other benefits our staff, our students, and our community.

Earning professional learning credit at Gladiator Forum
Participation Norms
Follow each of the steps below for each session you attend to be eligible for credit!
Show up:

Enroll in a Forum event through Vector

Join the live session, usually on Teams
-
Answer the facilitator's entrance question

Connect:
-
Get involved! Participating in sessions is required to earn credit-- there are no "sit and get" sessions at Gladiator Forum

Answer the facilitator's exit question
​
Succeed:
-
After the session, the facilitator will approve your PL or coaching credit in Vector
-
Leave feedback for the facilitator on Vector -- this is required to release the credit and add it to your transcript! Click here for help leaving feedback in Vector
Credits available at Gladiator Forum:

Check each session to see what type of credit is offered, if any
​
1 hour for each of the following:
-
participating in a session (all norms met)
-
completing a post-session Gladiator Forum Action Plan in Vector
​
3 hours of PL credit is available for Gladiator Forum presenters:
-
includes time for pre-session planning & post-session follow up
-
presenters will self-enroll and award credit using the Multiplier/Custom tools on
Vector
